On the gentle hills of Tortoreto, with the landscape characterised by numerous olive groves and vineyards, there is this beautiful villa, where architecture has merged with technique to create this wonderful jewel.
The property is accessible via a large driveway bordered by an olive grove and surrounded by over 2,500 square metres of garden, consisting of various types of trees, including fruit trees. In the basement, there is a large tavern with terracotta floors and Castelli ceramics. There is also a double built-in kitchen (for washing and preparing food), a cellar, a woodshed, a bathroom, a garage connected internally to the entire house and a boiler room.
The ground floor, connected with an internal travertine staircase, houses a large living room, two bedrooms, a bathroom with a Jacuzzi and a storage compartment. The floors are in porcelain stoneware and solid parquet flooring.
A further internal staircase connects this floor with the upper one where there are two more bedrooms and a bathroom with a hydromassage shower. The first floor is characterized by a ventilated and insulated wooden roof.
Outside there is a large porch, a wooden canopy with two parking spaces below and a panoramic terrace with a view of the Gemelli mountain massif (the Fiori and Campli mountains). There is the possibility of installing a swimming pool.
TORTORETO ALTO - TERAMO PROVINCE
Tortoreto is known as a resort town but it is divided into two separate areas.
Tortoreto Alto is the old sector situated in a higher position at over 220 metres above sea level. It still partly maintains its medieval structure with high walls, narrow alleys, a clock tower and the adjoining bridge which led into the fortress, now called Terravecchia. The more recent part of the town, called Terranova, is characterised by the two churches of Madonna della Misericordia and San Nicola.
In contrast Tortoreto Lido is a lively coastal resort with over 4 kilometres of beach. Here the sea is clean and shelves very gently making this area safe and ideal for children. It is very well served with public transport. There is a bus station nearby and a railway station on the line from Pescara that serves a string of little seaside towns as it runs along the coast north to Ancona.
Both areas have many facilities such as banks, shops, restaurants cafés and bars.
