This property has been extensively updated structurally with new plumbing and electrics throughout, all that is required is the finishings and the installation of bathroom fittings, radiators etc. It has new windows throughout and is situated next to the main square therefore is within walking distance of the bar and some shops. The town also has a couple of restaurants and a train station direct to Rome and Pescara.
The property enters from the main street into an open area which could be a living area with views of the valley, to the rear is a further room designated as a kitchen, there is a stairway leading up to two bedrooms and bathroom. PREZZA - L’AQUILA PROVINCE
A pretty medieval village, built on the slopes of Monte Prezza, at 480 metres above sea level. For the energetic there is even a trail which leads to the top of the mountain at 1,323 metres.
The original centre is found in the upper part of the town with a cluster layout around the church, and buildings sloping down the incline. Historical buildings to examine include the baronial mansion and the ancient church of Santa Lucia.
Throughout the year the town enjoys several religious festivals, not to be missed.
The population of 952 has a weekly market that takes place each Tuesday morning and sells local produce. There is a bar in the village with the larger towns of Raiano, Prato Peligna and Sulmona, with all facilities, just 15-20 minutes away, by car. A small supermarket and two pizzerias are only three kilometres from the centre of Prezza.
