The delightful town of Bisenti is situated on a small plateau adjacent to the River Fino. It is 275 metres above sea level and has a population of 2,030. The present town rose in the XII century, although the area was inhabited well before this time. It has all the facilities that you need, right on your doorstep. These include 2 banks, 2 supermarkets, an open-air market every Tuesday and Friday morning, several bars, a pizzeria and restaurant. Bisenti is particularly famous for its vineyards and ‘Montonico’ sparkling wine which is celebrated as part of the wine festival which takes place on the first weekend of October and lasts for 5 days!
The village has a lively feel whilst retaining its Italian charm.
