Picciano is famous for its ‘Sagra della Pizza and degli Arrosticini’. Held at the end of July, the town comes alive with groups and bands moving through the streets in local medieval costume.
The 1,280 inhabitants have access to food shops, post office, bank, chemist and restaurants. There is also a market, held each Wednesday.
