In the beautiful, historic, village of Mutignano which offers wonderful sea and mountain views is this charming townhouse. It has been totally renovated, with care and love by a local architect, preserving all the original features.
The main entrance door opens on to the kitchen which has beautiful vaulted ceilings with exposed bricks. The window offers a view of the mountains and the countryside.
Internal stairs lead to the first floor with a large living room with terracotta floor tiles, an open fireplace and the window offer a beautiful view towards the Gran Sasso mountain range and the surrounding countryside.

MUTIGNANO (Pineto) - TERAMO PROVINCE
Mutignano sits 321 metres above sea level. It is on a hill overlooking the Adriatic Sea with the Gran Sasso mountains in the background. Mutigano is part of the municipality of Pineto and until 1930 it was the administrative centre for the Pineto area. It is a very interesting medieval village that maintains some historical buildings and churches. On some facades overlooking streets and squares are murals, depicting scenes of everyday life.
Surrounding the town are geological features called ‘calanchi’ that are dramatic, eroded furrows cut into the rich farmland.
Mutignano has a post office, food shops, pharmacy, restaurants and bars to cater for the 560 inhabitants.
During the year there are several cultural and sporting events organised by local associations to satisfy young and old. One of the most famous is the ‘Rievocazione della Trebbiatura’ or a celebration of ancient threshing. There is live music, dancing in the middle of fields, re-enactment of farm working, display of period trucks and food stands, where it is possible to taste delicious local products. There are activities for the little ones too, such as petting and riding farm animals.
