Currently used as offices, the rooms can readily be converted into a three bedroom apartment. Please note that the building has no lift.
A new kitchen and bathroom would be advisable together with redecoration. This aside, the apartment would make a very comfortable residential or holiday home.
The property is close to shops and restaurants.
SULMONA - L’AQULA PROVINCE
Sulmona is often referred to as ‘the prettiest city in Abruzzo’. It is in a wonderful position, surrounded by majestic mountains and adjacent to two National Parks.
As you stroll through the streets and squares you will be able to appreciate Sulmona’s history and architecture including Roman, Medieval and Baroque styles. The well-preserved Medieval viaduct is of particular note.
The town is also famous for its production of brightly coloured, sugared almonds ‘Confetti di Sulmona’ which can be purchased in the many specialist shops. There are also exceptional places to eat and drink. Each Saturday, there is a popular market selling seasonal produce, the ingredients to recreate the fabulous dishes of the area.
There are many events that take place in the city and surrounding district including historic pageants, jousting and festivals to celebrate locally produced food and wine. There is plenty of opportunity to participate in outdoor activities and enjoy the diverse flora and fauna in the nearby National Parks. Some of the best skiing in Italy is less than an hour away.
